Pet Perspective is an ethical, science-based clinical animal behaviour service based in Hull and East Yorkshire, dedicated to improving the lives of pets and their people. We provide evidence-based behaviour support, practical training sessions, and professional mentoring for aspiring pet behaviour practitioners.
The name reflects our core philosophy: considering behaviour through your pet's perspective. By combining the latest behavioural science with compassionate, ethical practice, we aim to help create lasting, positive changes to pet behavioural challenges.
About me
Pet Perspective was created by Emily, an accredited Clinical Animal Behaviourist and Animal Training Instructor with a Master's degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour. With experience working with pets in both the home and rescue environments, Emily has developed a deep understanding of the behavioural challenges that can affect pets and their families. Her approach combines scientific evidence, practical experience, and compassionate, ethical practice to support lasting behaviour change and improve animal welfare.
Emily also holds a PGCE, bringing strong educational and mentoring skills to her work with both clients and aspiring behaviour professionals. She holds an enhanced DBS check and is fully insured through Petplan Sanctuary, providing reassurance that services are delivered to the highest professional standards.

One-to-one training in blocks of three sessions to help your dog learn new behaviours and overcome everyday challenges, such as lead pulling and recall. Most suitable for dogs under 18 months of age.
£120 for 3 x 45 min sessions.

Specialist support for unwanted or challenging behaviours, including reactivity, aggression, anxiety, phobias and toileting issues. Veterinary referral is required.
Your package includes:
Detailed behaviour and risk assessment to build a clear picture of your pet's behaviour, needs and individual circumstances.
Written report of the possible underlying causes of the behaviour, based on the information and evidence available.
Management and safety advice to help manage the situation and reduce risk straight away.
Bespoke behaviour plan to help address the behaviour and support positive progress.
Two follow-up sessions which provide an opportunity to review progress, discuss any challenges and make adjustments to your plan where needed.

Bespoke mentoring for pet professionals working towards ABTC professional standards, including APEL preparation and support, training class observations, and constructive feedback to support your professional development.
